Shorty’s Roasted Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons Shorty’s Spice – Original Recipe
  • 1 medium/large spaghetti squash
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 6 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 bell pepper (red, green, yellow or orange)

Directions:

  1. Cut spaghetti squash in half lengthwise, deseed, coat in vegetable oil, sprinkle Shorty’s Spice – Original Recipe all over the squash.
  2. Place face down on a baking sheet, and add a cup of water.
  3. Bake at 375°F for 40 – 50min
  4. While the squash is baking, in a non stick frying pan, fry all ingredients until cooked.
  5. Once the meat is cooked, add your choice of pasta sauce, and let simmer until hot.
  6. Once squash is cooked, plate it, add sauce and enjoy.
